iso - viewing mode
Hello
In the attached file, I send a wire view of the geometry i am trying to mesh with the isos at (u=1, v=1).
I constructed the 3 geometries (which are slightly the same) using the commands (2Dsketch --> Faces --> Hexahedral solid).
I expected getting the same sketch for each part of the geometry.
Does somebody knows why crosses appears on some faces ? I checked the edges orientation for faces with and without cross : they are the same.
Regards.
Hello SCHMITT,
If you absolutely want the iso-curves to be parallel to the face's edges, you can use the filling tool of Salome.
You just have to put two opposite edges into a compound, then New Entity -> Generation -> Filling. You can choose the method: Auto-correct edges orientation to avoid wrong geometries.
In your case, you can explode the faces of your solids containing "crossed" faces, then rebuild only these crossed faces and create new shells and new solids.
I hope this advice will help you.
Best regards,
William
