Mesh the volume inside CAD model

Hi to all.

I have a problem with some complex CAD model.

I want to know how to mesh the volume inside pipe. I import STEP file from SolidWorks to salome. In solidworks i can do the "cavity" option but it loose some information... Can I just mesh  the volume Inside on salome? If the answer positive I will be glad to know how.

I want to import the .UNV file to OpenFoam and make CFD analysis.

I don't know the cavity tool of Solidworks, but I guess it is something which can fill the space being inside a hollow pipe.

I don't know any similar tool in Salome, but you can do it by isolating the faces which are inside your pipe, then by closing your computational domain with the Suppress Holes tool, and then by creating a solid before meshing it. A tutorial is enclosed on a simple geometry.
