Shell mesh over hex/teth mesh

Hello everybody.

How can I put a shell mesh over a volumetric mesh? (example, tutorial, etc)

My model is a volumetric model and i wan to improve its rigidity with a cover made of fibre.

Is it possible? is it recommendable?

Hi, if you tet mesh a part you will automatically receive also a coat of tria elements!

If you create a hex mesh by extruding/revolving a shell element you will also get  a coat of quad elements.

They are already there!
