Re: Salome crashing on saving mesh

Hello Everyone,

I was trying to mesh a geometry which has approx. 200-300 cubes. The meshing works fine but when I try to save the mesh the salome sessions just closes down giving the following error:

GLib ERROR**: Creating pipes for GWakeup : Too many open files

Can someone tell me the reason why the salome session crashes?

There is a bug in NETGEN that it does not close its "testout" file created in Ng_Init (). The fix will be available in SALOME 6.6.

As a workaround try to use NETGEN 1D2D[3D] instead of NETGEN 2D and/or NETGEN 3D.
