2D mesh for external flow computation (batch and tui)

Dear All,
I'm trying to make a 2D mesh for external CFD computation.
In order to do that I use a modified version of the script Erwan put in his web site.
Everything works fine (both in tui and in batch), but the resulting mesh is quite strange and I'm not able to understand what goes wrong.
I put the script on the page http://xoomer.virgilio.it/edmondo_minisci/airfoil_batch_mesh.py
and a screen shot of the resulting mesh on the page http://xoomer.virgilio.it/edmondo_minisci/grids.html
As you can see, the triangle area does not change in a monotonic way from the fine zone (near the airfoil) to the coarse one ("external" field).
Does anybody know what the problem could be?
Thanks and the bests

Hi,
I'm not specialist in meshing but I'm able to do that :

Interested ?
Cheers,

Dear Erwan,
your product looks fine. As you can see in http://xoomer.virgilio.it/edmondo_minisci/airfoil_tetra_hexa.jpg, I tried to do the same with apparently good results. I was able to use a circular external field as well (http://xoomer.virgilio.it/edmondo_minisci/airfoil_tetra_hexa_circ.jpg).
But I have some concerns about the correct scaling from “boundary layer” conditions to the “far field” ones.
There should be something lacking or I miss some.
Nobody uses this tool for fluid-dynamics, either internal or external?
Thank you and my regards

Hi to you both,
is it possible to see your new python files? I would like to see, if I can get anything from it...
Greetings!

Dear All,
my files are at following addresses:
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/edmondo_minisci/airfoil_batch_mesh_2b.py
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/edmondo_minisci/airfoil_batch_mesh_extcirc.py
Please note that they are rough and really badly written. Any case, if they can be useful I will be happy.
