Salome 3.2.1 & DATA module
-
Hello all,
There is a mention of a DATA module in Salome under "http://www.salome-platform.org/home/presentation/data/" that allows the assignment of Material, Initial & Boundary Conditions, etc on the geometry. However I do not see any way of using it in Salome 3.2.1. Is it because the underlying functions (Python routines) are available, but no GUI has been built for them? What am I not understanding correctly?
Thanks

Hy there
I've just started to use Salome and I have the same problem with the DATA module. Has anyone an idea how to use it?
thanks-
Well, it seems that I was a bit too fast with my posting. According to the posting below
http://www.salome-platform.org/forum/forum_10/thread_580
the DATA module is still under developement and therefore not in the public release of Salome.-

tool which allow to describe python classes in order to integrate them in salome with
corba files generated and gui dialog boxes generated at run time. You can obtain
the last version on the cea ftp site (ftp.cea.frlogin:"ftp", passwd:"your email address") at url:
ftp://ftp.cea.fr/incoming/y2k01/adamCheers,
E.A.
PS : If you are interested in that tool, there are diffusion lists for discussions and
announcements.
