Salome 3.2.2 and contact between two bodies

Hello all,

I am trying to model two metal blocks that are contacting each other.  I would like to mesh both of them with linear tetrahedral elements using NetGen 1D-2D-3D algorithm.  Then I want to use Code-Aster 8.3 for the analysis.  My question maybe a little naive.

When I export to a MED file, it seems that only one of the meshes is exported at a time.  Do I need to export the mesh corresponding to each block into two separate med files, then read them into Code-Aster using two separate LIRE_MAILLAGE statements?

Is it not possible to mesh both objects in Salome 3.2.2 and export both to one MED file?  Any guidance will be much appreciated.  Thanks.
