    I am runing SALOME 3.2.2 on Suse 9.0. After succesful use of SALOME platform and exit from the program there are still some processes runing (40 processes!). Processes are something like:

    notifd -c/opt/saloe/salome_3.2.2/KERNEL_3.2.2/share/salome/resurces/kernel/channel.cfg
    SALOME_ContainerManegerServer
    /opt/salome/salome_3.2.2/KERNEL_3.2.2/bin/salome/SALOME_ContainerPy.py

    Since I am using SALOME on small cluster other users are complaining about these processes. Is there any other solution then manual kill command. Anybody else have the same problem?

    With best regards, Luka

      Hi

      You can tweak your runSalome file by adding a call to killSalomeWithPort.py, when exiting the python interpreter (ctrl+d):

      Add this line at the end of KERNEL_3.2.2/bin/salome/runSalome:

      python ${KERNEL_ROOT_DIR}/bin/salome/killSalomeWithPort.py ${NSPORT}

      Make sure there is the parameter "-i" in the lines launching python runSalome.py

      Cheers

      Christophe
