What is the SMESH DAT format?

Hi,

Just to know, what is the "dat" format that SMESH is able to read and write?

I've read somewhere that it is Nastran format, but trying to read a Nastran file doesn't work.

Dear all,

Going one step further after having tried to find a *.dat example in "SAMPLES" directory of Salome, I wrote one to see if I could identify this format.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I am not familiar with it.

Would anyone know for which application correspond the *.dat file format that can be read and written by SMESH module?
