sys.stdout.flush() is not known

Dear All,

 

I would like to use the sys.stdout.flush() expression to have a good status indicator in one of my scripts. However it seems it is not known.

 

Does anybody have an idea how this can be solved?

 

I am using Salome-5.1.2 on Ubuntu 10.04
