Problem trying to mesh an imported .STL with Salome
Hello,
I'm neither an expert nor a newbie in Salome, I have used it for some applications and have always been very satisfied with the results. However, I can't work out how to import a .STL file and properly mesh it without having the error message Geometry object is not defined Please specify it and try again. I have been reading forums related to this function, but for me it never gave me anything but this error message.
Any idea?
THX!
Bertrand
Re: Problem trying to mesh an imported .STL with Salome
Hi Bertrand
The steps to follow are:
1) Import your STL file -> a mesh is created
2) Call "Edit mesh/sub-mesh" and assign a 3D algorithm, OK
3) Compute your mesh.
