Convert mesh (.msh) into (.med) !

I want to make the mesh geometry in GAMBIT (. msh) and imported it into SALOME but I don't know how can I convert (. msh) in (. med). does anyone have a idea !!

If you find out how to do this please let me know. I too want to do this but cant figure it out.

Hello. If GAMBIT mesh file format (.msh) is clear documented, it will be light work to create msh import driver for SALOME. Are there only mesh (nodes, cells) in GAMBIT files or mesh fields too?

Gmsh can read *.msh files and export *.med files.

A file name extension is not a file format: the .msh file format used by Gmsh and that used by GAMBIT are not related, so Gmsh won't be of any help here.
