    hello all,
I try to create volume elements group by using standalone group option and picking the elements on the screen. It is possible to pick up nodes and edges, but no element is highlighted and pickable. I have been able to create a volume group based on geometry.
    Thanks

Yes, there is a referenced bug on that point ...
You cannot pickle volume elements when there are
face elements in you mesh (you can check if is
the case in advanced info on your mesh). I think
it is because the volume elements are hidden by
the face elements ... but it is only I think ...

The dirty way you can do something is to display
the mesh in Shrink mode and try to pickle the
volume elements. I agree it is very dirty and
annoying but it is the only solution I found
      in waiting the correction.

You can also select a rectangular region to select
      a whole set of elements.

      Regards, E.A.

Or you can uncheck "Display Entity> Faces" in the popup on the 3D view.
