how to project the frame

HI,

i'm a civil engineering student and I'm working in my final thesis usig Caelinux and Salome.
I never used this sofware and I need your assistance.
I must to plan the structure and I don't know witch procedure I can follow in order to define the frame and to assign joint translation x,y,z , rotation about x,y,z and assign loads.

It,s possible to plan the frame with salome? It's necessary to use the python? 
I know only the SAP software.
