Field values editor

Hello Salome Users and Developers!

What do You think about easiest way to implement editing fields values feature.

Now I generate mesh with fields in own XDATA module and store it in med file.

May be possible create it based on MED module? It has selection and presentation features.

In case own module (may be XDATA), I see problems with creating presentation and selection nodes and cells.

Can I use MED features from XDATA?

Has anybody had some experience in this area?

To benefit from a GUI, you might however have to wait till Salome v7 beginning of 2013.

Do you know about availibility this codes nowaday before releasing? Are there codes in open repositories? I have seen XMED module first time.

Hi,

I don't know how accessing it, but the presentation says the python TUI is already available in Salome 6.

The GUI will however only be available in Salome 7.
