FFA files export

Hello, As I worked with the solver Edge (http://www.foi.se/FOI/Templates/ProjectPage____4690.aspx) during my final internship in VZLU, in Prague (http://www.vzlu.cz/en/), I developped a script allowing to export meshes in its mesh format (the FFA format). This script generates ASCII files (.amsh) which can be converted into binary files (.bmsh) thanks to a single Edge command ("ffab2a file_name.amsh file_name.bmsh"). I tested it and it worked with 2D and 3D hybrid meshes, containing all kinds of cells that can be generated in Salome (rectangles, triangles, tetrahedrons, pyramids, prisms, hexahedrons). This script can also generate a file giving in detail the ID of all mesh elements in the FFA format and their equivalent in the Salome Platform interface. Like this, the user can quickly find the elements that Edge doesn't like and correct them in Salome. Only one limitation : it doesn't work well with meshes being fused together in Salome (I don't know why). If someone is interested, he or she has just to contact me. Maybe this tool could be put into the next Salome code ? Best regards, William Tougeron
