    Hi, Some very common features could be usefull in the Post-Processing Module : for instance, be able to visualize a scalar map - with the elements of the mesh being shown - in shading mode - on a deformed shape with a given 3 dimensional vector field NT

      As far as i understand, your requests are already available in SALOME

      - with the elements of the mesh being shown
      It's possible to display simultaneous  presentation of mesh and presentation of scalar map to obtain this result

      - in shading mode
      Click on the displayed object, and in the pop up  click on  the Representation-> Surface to obtain this result.

      - on a deformed shape with a given 3 dimensional vector field
      It's possible, In the browser click on you 3D Vector fields (right button) and select Deformed Shapes item.

        Thanks for your answer. Nevertheless, I think my third question was not clear enough : I mean visualize a given scalar map (Temperature for instance) on a shape deformed by a 3 dimensionnal field (Displacement for instance). I have the feeling this is not possible with Salome 2.2.4 (it is only possible to visualize the norm of the displacement on the corresponding deformed shape)... Nicolas

          Yes you are right it's not possible.
          It's a very interresting suggestion to combine presentations of differents fields
          we will try to take it in account for future evolutions of VISU.

            Hi! Another remark : if one creates a deformed shape, it is impossible to visualize the mesh upon the deformed view. This is a problem since these kind of views are not shaded and it can be difficult to recognize some kind complex geometries...
