Salome 3.2.6 and DATA module
-
Hi.
I've read in the main page that a DATA module is available in 3.2.6, but in my installation (Linux-Sarge) I can't find it. I took a look at the sources and same results: no Data module.
Also, un the "User Section" "Examples of SALOME use", the last example source file is missing (Pipe Shell)
Does somebody know where is this module and the example?
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
After installation you will find XDATA module in xdata-0.5.49 folder of install destination folder.
Besides Products/SOURCES folder contains xdata-0.5.49.tar.gz archive with source files of XDATA module
Best Regards-
Maybe I'm confused.
The module that I'm searching is explained in the page
http://www.salome-platform.org/home/presentation/data/
It seems that it isn't the xdata module. If it's the same.... I need more help to make it work
Many thans for your help.

Dear Sergey,
I've browsed through the tutorial of XData module, and it appears that it has nothing to do with DATA module, used for loads and boundary conditions. Am I right?
I was struggling to make use of the DATA module published by David Gilles on this forum (for 3.2.1 version of Salome), but I couldn't make it work properly. Namely,
I don't have an SPML button.
Nowadays Open Cascade publishes it latest Salome versions without DATA module. Based on this web site it looks like the latest version with DATA was 2.2.8.
Could you please tell us wheather Open Cascade is planning to release DATA module, supported by Salome 3.2.6?
Sincerely yours,
Andriy
