How do I upgrade a universal binary installation ?

I have installed Salome-V6_5_0-LGPL-x86_64.run somewhere in my home directory.

I would like to upgrade to version 6.6.0.  

How do I do that ?

Do I need to uninstall the old version ?  If so how ?

Is there some option to tell the installer to replace the older version ?

Hello Gabriel,

There is no upgrade of the universal binary distribution.

Just run the 6.6.0 installer and install it in your Home directory just like you did with the 6.5.0.

You can keep the 6.5.0 for safety purpose in case there is a regression in the 6.6.0 (I hope not !). Otherwise you can safely delete the 6.5.0 installation.
