error during install

hi

I did download Salome-V6_5_0-LGPL-x86_64.run

chmod +x

and run, but I am getting error, here is output from terminal

jano@guliver ~/Downloads # ./Salome-V6_5_0-LGPL-x86_64.run -dm -t /home/FORMING/Salome/

The SALOME application was successfully created.
To run the application:
$ /home/FORMING/Salome//appli_V6_5_0p1/runAppli

 

thanks for any tip or help to install salome.

as you can see I want to install to directory /home/FORMING/Salome but my ~ directory is /home/jano

hello

i suspect the owner and/or permission to be at fault on the directory /home/FORMING

creation a folder at the root of /home implies a new user!

hi

I did put installation file to different directory and recreate destination directory and then it work out.

so I can run salome now
