MD5 checksum error on latest 64bit Universal Dowload

Hello,

I am trying to install 6.4 and am getting the following error:

Verifying archive integrity...
Error in MD5 checksums: 4adeced30c9f6b48949827bf45b09eba is different from 79fad700c40c39d500e74e05bdd8e662

Any ideas woiuld be greatly appreciated.  Is this normal, should I run installed with the -f flag to force the install?

I suggest you to download the binaries again. You can wait a fews days for the 6.5.0 which is about to be released.

Unfortunately 6.5 has same issue:

Am I supposed to do something with the md5 file accompanying the download?

Yes you can verify that the file you downloaded is good :

$ md5sum -c Salome-V6_5_0-LGPL-x86_64.run.md5

Salome-V6_5_0-LGPL-x86_64.run: OK
