      Hi!

In the file salome.sh change the second source row according to the following
      out_var=`echo $1 $2 | awk -W sprintf=3060 -v dir=$3 '{ \ na = split($2,a,":";); \

      Hello Pichon,

Were you sucessfull in launching  Salome on the Ubuntu platform.

I also get the same erro when I type ./runSalome. Were you able to make corrections to this error.

      Thanks

        Hello,

You likely use bash shell. In this case you need to source *.sh file instead of *.csh one (which is for csh shell):
        [vsr-local@note-vsr] source salome.sh
        [vsr-local@note-vsr] runSalome
        ...

        Regards,
        Vadim.

          Yes it works.
If some additional info needed, ask.

To run Salome 3.2.2 on Ubuntu 6.0.6, I did also:

            in boost-1.32.0 directory:
            ln -s libboost_thread-gcc-mt-1_32.so.1.32.0 libboost_thread-gcc-mt-1_31.so.1.31.0

            Good luck

              Hello,

There is the same error on 6.10. I have to do :

              ln -s libboost_thread-gcc-mt-1_32.so.1.32.0 libboost_thread-gcc-mt-1_31.so.1.31.0
              ln -s libboost_signals-gcc-mt-1_32.so.1.32.0 libboost_signals-gcc-mt-1_31.so.1.31.0

              Regards,
              Thomas.
