    Hello,
after some unsuccessful trials with earlier versions of salome, I am trying to install the new version 3.2.6. As we use the non-supported LINUX distribution SuSE10.0, I want to install from source. For this purpose I have downloaded the files src3.2.6.tar.gz and doc3.2.6.tar.gz. After unpacking these archives I did not find the proper information how to proceed. Certainly I am missing some crucial information. Could somebody give me a hint?? I already did a trial starting from distribution for RedHat8.0, but also without real success. Thank you very much in advance for your support.

      Hi,
can installation wizard information be downloaded as "source" data, without downloading OS specific binaries?

        Hi to All,

        I've downloaded Salome from source,too.

I'm using Slackware 12 RC1. Any help would be appreciated in building salome from scratch.

        Many many thanx

        Andrea
