Gui does not appear

    Hallo,
    I installed 3.2.6 on debian (the sarge version on an actual testing system). Everything installed fine. Then I source salome.sh in the kernel directory and ./runSalome -g in the bin directory.
    I get the following output:
    Configure parser: Warning : could not find user configuration file
    Configure parser: Warning : could not find user configuration file
    Searching for a free port for naming service: 2810 2811 - OK

    and then the program hangs.

    I test this an a 32bit centrino laptop, without special graphic card - could this be the problem? does the program depend on some special cards?

    any help appreciated

      Is there no error at all during installation?

      it seems that it can't read some configuration file. Maybe you can try reinstall it.
