SALOME INSTALLATION ON MANDRIVA LE2005

Hi guys,
I have just installed Mandriva LE2005 succesfully
... At this moment I am trying to install Salome 2.2.2 but something got wrong. 
I am new with Linux and I am looking for a step by step procedure to endorse salome, if it does exist!
I have printed Installation Wizard from web site and I am going to try again the installation procedure
... is there any other reference manual I can use ?Thank You for Your help

I have installed Salome 2.2.2 ... but following is the message I read when trying to launch the program ...

Hi all
I have exactly the same problem with the same error message
when I try to launch salome. I am new on linux so I have the problems
to find a solution. Is there somebody who have a clean Salome install
under mandriva LE2005?
If yes: how do you do ?
If no: What is the main procces to install it ? do we need to have the same GCC
revision as required for salome (because I have a newer version)
Can we use salome binaries even if we are under mandriva?
