    Hello,

I have a strange problem.  I have installed SalomeMeca2008 from CAELinux on 2 PCs.  Each has Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) installed with all the latest updates.  Salome 3.2.9 works fine on the 32bit but not on the 64bit PC.

    I used on both PCS:
    /opt/SALOME-MECA-2008.1-GPL/runSalomeMeca

    On the 64bit I get:

/opt/SALOME-MECA-2008.1-GPL/SALOME-MECA/V3_2_9/prerequis-SalomeMeca-V3_2_9.sh: line 1: /opt/SALOME-MECA-2008.1-GPL/SALOME/SALOME3/V3_2_9NoDebug/../prerequis/debianForSalome-v1_2_0/bin/dirname: No such file or directory
/opt/SALOME-MECA-2008.1-GPL/SALOME/SALOME3/V3_2_9NoDebug/runAppli: line 20: /opt/SALOME-MECA-2008.1-GPL/SALOME/SALOME3/V3_2_9NoDebug/../prerequis/debianForSalome-v1_2_0/bin/dirname: No such file or directory

Even though all these files do exist!

Is this because the SalomeMeca2008 is a precomplied version that is misbehaving in a 64bit OS?  If so, does anybody have a solution to the problem?  Thank you for any suggestions and remarks.

    Regards,
