07 Jan 2005 - SALOME version 2.1.0

SALOME version 2.1.0 released

This new v2.1.0 release is now available for downloading from the site.

  • Changes in the pre-requisite products
    • Open CASCADE technology version 5.2 plus a couple of specific patches.
    • Med version 2.2. SMESH, VISU & MED modules are able to read med files of v2.1 & v2.2 format. SMESH module can write files in both formats, whilst MED module can only write files in med v2.1 format.
    • Other changes
      • GEOM and SMESH modules have been improved, especially in the construction and checking functions.
