18 Jan 2006 - SALOME version 2.2.8

This new stable release includes major CEA-EDF contributions and important issues from SALOME 2 RNTL project and is compliant with Redhat 8.0, Redhat 9.0, Mandrake 10.1 and Debian Sarge distribution.

This version is migrated on more recent versions of software requirements for SALOME (gcc, vtk…).

An important effort was done to make the application more robust. This versions includes many debugs from the previous version 2.2.2.
