Paravis: save state to python file

Posted by Konyaro at September 02. 2020

Hello,

When trying to use the "Save State..." menu to a python file in Paravis, I get no python file. This function works fine with Paraview standalone 5.8.

I am using Salome 9.5 for Windows.

Any hints welcome,

Konyaro

Hi,

Thanks for your message. I confirm that the issue occurs on both Windows and Linux: saving a state to Python file format with Paravis leads to a warning message in the message log windows: Empty state generated. and the file is not dumped.

On the other hand, if one uses Paraview which can be started with the following commands on Windows, it works as expected.

 call SALOME-9.5.0\run_SALOME.exe context

Paraview
