Connect a T-Pipe

Posted by John Smith at November 10. 2016

Hi,

I'm quite new with salome, so I got a question about my project. I want to create a T-pipe, it should consist of several parts to mesh them with different parameters. After that I want to export it to OPENFOAM.

My question: May I connect the different parts by using 'compound'? I'm not sure if a flow through the pipe is still possible without using 'partition' or 'fuse'.

Best Regards

If you use Compound only, then your mesh will be non-conformal. Is it acceptable for OPENFOAM?

It's not possible.
