RestoreSubShapes for Rotate does not work!!!

Posted by Mary at October 01. 2019

Hello,

I tried to use RestoreSubShapes in salome 6/7/9.3 for copying groups from one part to another. This clearly works for TranslateDXDYDZ with theCopy=True. When the second part is rotated with Rotate and theCopy=True, it does not work. Is this a bug, or do i do something wrong. Does anybody has a small example for copying groups from on part to a rotated copy?

THIS DOES NOT WORK.

Shape_2 = geompy.Rotate(Shape_1, axis, angle, theCopy=True)

groups = geompy.RestoreSubShapes( Shape_2, [], GEOM.FSM_Transformed, True, False)

THIS DOES WORKS

Shape_2 = geompy.TranslateDXDYDZ(Shape_1, dx, dy, dz, theCopy=True)

groups = geompy.RestoreSubShapes( Shape_2, [], GEOM.FSM_Transformed, True, False)

Can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong?

Many thanks!
