Salome 8.5.0 crash in Windows 10 Bash Ubuntu with VcXrv, any ideas?

Posted by Timo Siltala at October 26. 2018

I continued testing and opened a larger model file. Earlier the graphics was incorrect and console window complained about old display driver. I updated it (in Windows) to latest one. When going now to geometry model, Salome crashes with enclosed message. Any ideas what to try next? Somehow this gave me feeling that VS compilation to Windows was rejected too early.

./env_launch.sh

runSalome running on R

Hi,
From my experience latest  MobaXterm is more reliable
If you run int problem use mesa_salome instead of salome

Best
