Ce vecteur al\u00e9atoire peut \u00eatre mod\u00e9lis\u00e9 par l\u2019association de lois marginales et de copules. Ce m\u00e9canisme permet des manipulations complexes des lois de probabilit\u00e9s multivari\u00e9es. Lorsqu\u2019un \u00e9chantillon d\u2019observations est disponible, la librairie met \u00e0 disposition des fonctionnalit\u00e9s de traitements statistiques, dont des tests d\u2019ajustement param\u00e9triques et non param\u00e9triques (histogramme ou lissage \u00e0 noyau). L\u2019estimation des param\u00e8tres d\u2019une loi peut \u00eatre men\u00e9e sur un \u00e9chantillon et la librairie permet d\u2019obtenir la loi des param\u00e8tres.<\/li><li>des processus stochastiques peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9finis, par leur mod\u00e8le de covariance, par leur d\u00e9composition spectrale ou par d\u00e9composition de Karhunen-Lo\u00e8ve.<\/li><li>pour la propagation, OpenTURNS propose des m\u00e9thodes de calculs analytiques d\u00e8s que possible pour la d\u00e9termination de la loi de probabilit\u00e9 de la variable d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat, bas\u00e9es sur la manipulation des fonctions caract\u00e9ristiques. La librairie fournit plusieurs m\u00e9thodes de simulation pour l\u2019estimation de la tendance centrale ou la probabilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9passement de seuil, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents types de plans d\u2019exp\u00e9riences ainsi que des algorithmes it\u00e9ratifs permettant de minimiser le nombre d\u2019appels au code. Pour la fiabilit\u00e9, la librairie fournit les m\u00e9thodes FORM et SORM g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9es aux copules elliptiques.<\/li><li>pour la hi\u00e9rarchisation, OpenTURNS \u00e9value des facteurs d\u2019importance et de sensibilit\u00e9 adapt\u00e9s aux m\u00e9thodes de propagation s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es, en particulier les indices de Sobol\u2019. La librairie permet d\u2019estimer les indices de sensibilit\u00e9 par \u00e9chantillonnage ou par des algorithmes it\u00e9ratifs.<\/li><li>pour le calage, OpenTURNS permet d\u2019estimer les param\u00e8tres d\u2019un mod\u00e8le permettant de rapprocher les observations et les pr\u00e9dictions du mod\u00e8le. Le calage peut \u00eatre men\u00e9 par moindres carr\u00e9s ou par des m\u00e9thodes bay\u00e9siennes. Le calage bay\u00e9sien peut \u00eatre men\u00e9 en toute g\u00e9n\u00e9ralit\u00e9 par MCMC ou bien dans un cadre plus simple avec un a priori Gaussien. Dans tous les cas, la loi des param\u00e8tres du calage est d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par des m\u00e9thodes exactes ou approch\u00e9es.<\/li><li>pour les mod\u00e8les co\u00fbteux, OpenTURNS peut cr\u00e9er des m\u00e9tamod\u00e8les. La librairie permet de cr\u00e9er des m\u00e9tamod\u00e8les et surfaces de r\u00e9ponses, et en particulier des mod\u00e8les de r\u00e9gression simple, des polyn\u00f4mes de chaos et des mod\u00e8les de r\u00e9gression par processus Gaussiens ou krigeage.<\/li><li>Tout code de calcul, fonction Python ou symbolique peut \u00eatre l\u2019objet d\u2019une \u00e9tude, gr\u00e2ce aux diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9canismes de connexion disponibles pour d\u00e9finir une fonction. Lorsque le code est \u00e9valuable par \u00e9changes de fichiers, la librairie facilite la connexion pour piloter le code de calcul.
